Sibling rivalry and fights – how to put the kids on the same boat!
Are you frequently challenged by your children fighting?
Often, sibling rivalry starts even before the second child is born, and continues as the kids grow and compete for everything from toys to attention. As kids reach different stages of development, their evolving needs can significantly affect how they relate to one another.
It can be frustrating and upsetting to watch and hear your kids fight with one another. A household that’s full of conflict is stressful for everyone. Yet often it’s hard to know how to stop the fighting, and or even whether you should get involved at all. But you can take steps to promote peace in your household and help your kids get along.
During this conference, you will have a few insights on what to do as parents and what could be the belief behind the behaviour of the misbehaving child, according to Adlerian principles, the foundation of Positive Discipline.
The teachings of Positive Discipline are filled with non-punitive and non-permissive respectful tools that will incorporate kindness and firmness into parenting. It will help parents get to the core of their child’s misbehaviour, bring more joy into their homes and give the whole family a sense of accomplishment!
In this 90′ conference, participants will understand some of the key concepts behind Positive Discipline, based on the best selling book by Dr. Jane Nelsen.
There is a hand-out at the end, including practical advice and tips you can try immediately at home with your family.
