We are living uncertain times and both adults and children are having to adapt to new situations since almost a year. Building resilience is not easy and there are powerful ways to help both ourselves and our children.
During this interactive conference, we will explore how we can use the energy of all emotions to empower ourselves and others. We will experience Positive Discipline activities (Social Emotional Learning – SEL) to help children identify emotions and appropriate responses. Behind every behaviour is a feeling and our feelings come from our thoughts (conscious and subconscious). Recognising emotions when they arise and labelling them, helps children and adults work through them and allows them to be able to act instead of react.
- Explore how we can support children socially and emotionally
- Practice using our language more effectively in order to connect with others
- Understand how feelings help us and how to identify and express feelings in a positive way
This interactive conference will give you a few insights on what is happening in our brains and how to deal with it.
This is a 60 mins conference, leaving 10 mins for Q&A.
