Coaching
‘A purposeful conversation between two people, that inspires them to step out of their comfort zones and take the initial steps towards doing what they want and being who they want to be’. Kain Ramsay, Achology
Everyone needs encouragement to progress and change, even the most successful individuals. The benefits of using a coach can be the edge that you seek, both in your personal and professional life.
MOTIVATION
Your coach is not only present during challenging moments. His or her primary mission is to bring fulfilment into your life and motivation.
SELF-CONFIDENCE
The purpose of coaching is to boost your self-confidence. By calling upon a professional, you are reshaping your life. There are also many recommended books on personal development which will support your quest.
A coach can facilitate a new direction in your life. Similar to a sports coach, we propose exercises so you can move forward and practice your new way of being. This will increase your confidence and help you to bounce back after a set-back.
A coach will provide customized support and help you reach results. The tools and techniques of Positive Discipline, NLP, and Empowering Leaders & Teams (ELT) are very useful in bringing about personal development.
As part of the coaching process, these tools are practiced within a variety of situations chosen by the coachee.
Success is in the process of change, not only in the immediate result expected.
You will be mentored by a certified life coach and recruitment professional who worked successfully for 20 years in the public and private sectors. And since 2016 as a Positive Discipline Trainer.
Izumi Takase provides personal coaching upon request in the following areas:

Competency Based Interviews (CBI)
Interviews have evolved over the last decade. There is a significant shift away from traditional interviews and towards Competency Based Interviews (CBI) covering both soft skills (emotional intelligence) and hard skills (tasks).
These interviews are also known as structured interviews or behavioral interviews.
This style of interview consists of several targeted questions. They require interviewees to describe specific tasks or situations. The assumption is that the best indication of future behavior is self-awareness.
Interviewees are typically assessed on 3-5 competencies. An example of a common competency is “problem-solving skills” and ‘communication and influence.’
A typical question is, “describe how you managed a difficult situation… Talk me through your approach … How did you feel during the situation? And what was the outcome?”.
iPositiveLINC help job-seekers prepare for competency interviews. We worked with job seekers targeting new jobs and internal promotions.

Positive Discipline in the Classroom (PDC) is a research-based classroom management program that empowers teachers with skills to build their students’ sense of community, prepare them for successful living, and increase academic achievement.
Positive Discipline in the Classroom is designed to create a respectful school climate through social-emotional learning, character education and effective discipline.
It provides simple and clear lesson plans that you can integrate into your daily curriculum.
The full PDC program provides the tools to develop effective class meetings and create a climate of mutual respect through teaching communication, cooperation, problem-solving, and self-regulatory skills.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Understand motivations for misbehavior and how to respectfully encourage change in ways that eliminates most discipline problems.
- Learn how to encourage students and set limits using kindness and firmness at the same time.
- Learn tools to effectively lead a classroom based on cooperation and mutual respect instead of control.
- Learn how to teach life skills (self-discipline, responsibility, cooperation, problem solving etc.) so that students can cooperate and learn successfully in the classroom.
As a PD Classroom Educator or Trainer, accredited by the French and American Positive Discipline Association (ADPF & PDA), we can train and assist you in becoming a Positive Discipline Lab School.
Are you a teacher or educator who followed PD workshops in the classroom and really excited to get started with your own classes?
- Do you need a first helping hand to get going?
- Or you’ve started using Positive Discipline tools but something is not working?
Accredited PD educators and trainers can guide you in the classroom in implementing Positive Discipline tools once a week and brainstorm for solutions.
